The Voice of Calvary Lutheran Church, Rio Linda

1. The Cookie Ministry is going great. We are making and passing out 5 containers each Sunday. We also decided to expand our Cookie Ministry into the community. We dropped off cookies to 2 new families in the community. In May we will be giving out containers to 60 staff members at the Rio Linda Elementary School for Staff Appreciation Week. We will be busy little bakers.

2. The tutoring program is pulling together at the Rio Linda Elementary School. There are 4 of our members who have volunteered to help with this program and the right connection is being worked out for them. We have one member to member tutoring established.

3. Onward Christian Cyclers - 4th Sunday of Every Month - Got off to a slow start because of the weather but hopefully it will pick up as the weather improves. We will be starting a Walking Group in April to coincide with the cycling. So if you don't have a bike you can walk. There will be an article in the Rio Linda Paper advertising our cycling and walking program.

4. Postcard Ministry - Post cards are still being sent to all members and friends of Calvary inviting them to upcoming services and events.

5. Signage - Looking for a couple people that would be willing to put out our church signs on Saturday morning and take them down Sunday afternoon.

6. Our Outreach Box outside the door to the parking lot should be up soon with information about our church in it. That way anyone that walks up can get that information.

7. Brochure - We are working on a 3-fold brochure for our church.
